The historic town of Hasami in Nagasaki is one of the foremost pottery districts in Japan and began crafting its porcelain ware almost 400 years ago. HASAMI PORCELAIN was designed with a vision to integrate modern tableware design with the organic quality produced by traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques.

The texture of HASAMI PORCELAIN is a result of many years of development to bring out the very best of raw natural resources. Each product is passed onto different craftsmen in various parts of the village to undergo a specific step of handwork until the product is completed. 

As a result of the handwork, together with the four seasons’ different temperatures and humidity levels, every product has a unique character with natural variances in colour and texture.
