Grown in the highlands of Sidama at 1,851 metres above sea level, Jigesa (015) brings together the harvests of some 500 smallholder producers. Run by Testi Coffee as part of their Premium Cherry Selection Program, up to 260 seasonal workers, most of them women, carefully hand-pick, sort, and washed process each cherry with care.
The distinctiveness of this lot comes from the region’s high elevations, fertile soils, and the Kurume and Wolisho varieties at its core. It’s elegant in the cup, with layered notes of tropical fruit, honeysuckle, and sugarcane sweetness. It’s a beautiful coffee that reflects both the land and the hands that bring it to life.
